Our Location
We are a bustling country pub and hotel located just off the A68, nestled in the small hamlet of Fir Tree.
10 Minute Drive from Bishop Auckland
Just a 10 minute drive to Bishop Auckland and only 12 miles from the cathedral city of Durham, we are ideally situated for guests to take advantage of the many local attractions and historic sites in our region and beyond.
On the A68
We are situated within a short drive of the Durham Dales, Bishop Auckland, Crook, Durham, Darlington and being adjacent to the main A68 route allows visitors easy access to destinations both north and south. We are only one hour drive away from Hadrian’s Wall, and under 3 hours to Edinburgh.

Monday to Saturday – 12noon until 8pm.
Sunday – 11.30am until 3pm.
